The recuperation and recovery malarkey isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. It’s only just two weeks since the operation and ten days being at home and I am already crawling up the walls, as I am limited to what I can and can’t do. In short I am feckin’ bored!
The problem is I am not a sitter/lounger/couch hugger type, so I find it all a bit alien and it’s really hard to adapt and just stay still for a period of time. I feel like I am auditioning to be an extra in one of those Channel 5 series about scroungers and skivers.
Highlights of the week include the return of my beloved car from the body shop after having both front and rear bumpers repaired following confrontations with BMWs in May. The car’s backend looks a lot better than mine now.
The other treat this week was the visit of Mark, the Stoma Nurse who inspected my rear end along with an audience made up of Mrs W and Maurice the dog. It was a bit disconcerting to have attracted a crowd, although I did suspect that perhaps they were playing Pokemon Go and were in search of buried treasures!
Listening to lots of great music at the moment, so I thought I would share a top tune with you. Groovy!
